:)So last night was my first wine book club and I loved it even more than I thought I would. The women were so nice and the discussion was very interesting. I loved how Cathy really talked about the wines we were drinking in a comparative way. I have belonged to several fiction book clubs and never felt so comfortable and enjoyed it so much. the book we read was The Hose of Mondavi. The next book is Adventures on the wine route by Kermit Lynch.

Hi Colleen,
Is your wine book club accepting new members? I recently moved to Swampscott and could use some local women interaction.
In any event, I look forward to attending some north shore wine events in the future. I recently had dinner at the Red Rock Bistro in Swampscott and had a delicious shiraz. The brand was 14 Hands...I've not been able to find it in any wine store, as of yet, but I have my eyes peeled for such.
Take Care, Kerrie

I think its pretty open. It meets at cornerstone book the last fri of the month. This month we are reading Kermit Lynch's adventures on the wine route. I just read about the group online and popped in to join. If you'd like I can email you the next selection but if you go to the cornerstone books website I think you can join there.
Colleen
PS they also pick out a selection of wines to go with the book!! so its extra fun.
